castle x beckett tv: castle so whatever happens whatever you decide sobs richard castle ladies and gents this isn't necessarily the right move in the slightest but it's perfectly in character and the more i think about it and this entire ep i'm in love w the fact that it came down just to that character who they are as extraordinary individuals who are trying to make this work bc i was initially more than slightly annoyed at why they were admitting defeat at the onset why they cornered themselves into choosing one over the other but those martha and jim scenes addressed the ~actual issue at hand so perfectly deep down they were afraid it may not work because of ~who they are bc the thrill of the dance comes and goes day by day in all relationships and they just thought they ultimately reached that inevitable point but this proposal (i can't believe i just typed that) this declaration that he will fight for her despite all of that not only when she's the best version of herself (which i feel she has been up until now) but when she makes mistakes and tries to push him away. bc that's when it will matter most. i just cry and cry i still hope she says 'not yet' and uses actual words bc they haven't properly reached this point yet but this is such a castle x beckett way for this to happen.. i think i love it also asdfjk;l robert duncan interweaved their death theme w their love theme murder mee
